Arise! Shine! Your Light has come!
We believe that your time to shine is… now. The God’s Story DTS is a life changing opportunity to know God more deeply and make Him known more boldly. This 6 month school will give you a transformative discipleship experience where you learn to follow Jesus through His Word and in the power of His Spirit. With the mission field right on your doorstep here in Leeds, you will be challenged to step out of your comfort zone, face your fears and trust God to grow your faith as you GO!
BUILD FOUNDATIONS FOR LIFE
TRAINNING PHASE
For 3 months you will be part of a passionate family of believers who worship with lives laid down while learning how to reach out to the unreached peoples locally. Together we discover who we are and who God is through the stories of the bible. Through encounters with Him, you learn to hear His voice for yourself and for others. This is where you can find your calling in God’s global plans and purposes. Leaving behind the things that hold you back, you can find freedom through repentance and forgiveness in a safe and loving discipleship process.
PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION
OUTREACH PHASE
As you learn to thrive in your identity as sons and daughters, the world awaits eagerly for the revelation of the gospel through you. During this 2 month outreach you will have opportunities to share the stories you have learned from God’s word with other cultures and help them to follow Jesus. As you have freely received, you can now freely give to the lost and to other believers, some who have even faced persecution for their faith. This will be a time of taking risks, growing in character and being empowered to use your God given gifts for His glory.
